This week we’re focusing on the popular wheels in the Enkei Racing line. We’ve covered the RPF1 already and it’s time for the NT03+M. The NT03+M is a popular wheel yet a challenge for many. The Concave face version is highly coveted for the style yet it has brembo clearance issues. The convex face version is not nearly as popular but offers great sizing in 17″ and they can usually be found used for very cheap.

Brembo Clearance: Enkei RPF1 ALL SIZES!!
Long time no post, I’m coming back with more info here in the coming weeks. If there are any topics or featured cars you’d like me to cover comment or shoot us a message.
One of the most common questions I see online is, “Will xx RPF1 clear my brembos?” Time to compile some data so it’s easy to find.
Here is a comprehensive break down of the Enkei RPF1 Brembo clearance for the STI brembos with their spacer sizes where necessary.
AutoX: Oskaloosa, IA Iowa Region SCCA 2014-6-22
As many of you know, T3hClap.com has moved from the sunny beaches and tourist traps of Florida to the wonderful corn and soybeans of Iowa!!
Once we moved in and got situated. The first thing on the agenda was to find an AutoX, lucky for me we moved in to the intersection of three great SCCA autox regions. Iowa Region, Des Moines Valley Region and Great River Region. With the right planning it’s possible to do multiple events a month between each region (well, between March and Sept).
Oskaloosa hosted my first Iowa Autox. It is a small town that isn’t exactly easy to get to, when you take the long way. The AutoX is held at a small airports east of town. I plugged the airport into the Waze app and headed towards the event. As many iPhone users know, your phone will die and it’ll die when you’re 10 minutes from where you need to go in the middle of nowhere Iowa. Luckily, there was a Focus ST scooting a long that looked determined to go racing, so I followed him in the rest of the way. (Thanks Nate)

Enkei GTC01RR | Japan Wheel Wednesday
It’s Wednesday in Japan, so why not show off a new wheel from Enkei Japan. There has been some chatter about the RS05RR lately since it’s due to finally hit American shores in a few months, time to stir up some interest in the brand new Enkei GTC01RR!! Classic split six spoke design with multiple faces available, and some really nice proposed sizes. Enough talk, take a look at the photos, tell me what you think. Will these be your next set of wheels? Buy Karlton Flares to allow you to run the Rear face on all 4 corners? It’s tempting.
New Enkei Wheel! Enkei Racing RS05RR
If any of you guys follow me on instagram @t3hclap you’ll notice I was getting all excited over a picture posted by @kent_enkei_Wheels_jp. After I saw the wheel I did some digging. I knew Enkei had a few new wheels up their sleeves but this one really stands out.
The Enkei RS05RR. It comes in 3 different faces and some very nice size options. It’s good to see Enkei come out with an 18×11!!

Go Ginormous or GTFO, 18×10.5s GD Impreza
There has been a lot of chat out there about a certain set of new fender flares that are on the market. I get a lot of questions about what wheels are available in the correct sizes. A few months back I compiled a list of 18×10.5s and it’s about time I shared it with everyone.
The sweet spot is 18×10.5 +15mm with a 295/30/18, coilovers and some camber. Go Ginormous or GTFO.
This first post will be all 1 piece wheels that clear the STi Brembos, the 2/3 piece article will come later once we know exactly how aggressive we can go with these monster flares Karlton has created.
